Q: Is The American a private event venue, or are you open to the public?
A: The American, a fully restored Art Deco theater, functions as a unique full service event venue, able to accommodate many different types of corporate retreats, seminars, conferences, private screenings, ceremonies and receptions.

Q: What makes The American different from other local event venues?
A: The setting The American offers is unlike any other in town. The 13,000 square foot facility features two fully equipped theaters and an upscale lounge ideal for hosting large conferences, corporate events, small board meetings, presentations and classroom-style training and private parties. Stylishly Art Deco, this world- class technology center features the best in advanced audiovisual equipment, high-speed internet access, teleconferencing and wireless networking systems, with impressive in-house catering and event services available as well. Q: Is there someone onsite during my event to assist with all of the technical set up and in case of any equipment not functioning properly?
A: Yes, we have fully trained technical support on site to assist with every event.

Q: Is the marquee space available for rent?
A: Yes! Say it loud and proud on The American Theater marquee. The cost is $100 per message and it's up for 24 hours. For details, contact us.

Q: Can there ever be simultaneous events happening at The American?
A: Yes, during the day, several events can happen at the same time. For example, for a classroom style meeting, Theater One can accommodate 142 people and Theater Two can seat 175. Stars Lounge can accommodate up to 50 people for a reception.

Q: Is there handicap accessibility?
A: Yes, we have both an exterior entrance with a ramp and interior chair lift.
